DOWN THE SPIRAL
( Danzio Bonavia ITA – PIOVONO LE STELLE)
Down the spiral
falls another day…
Today is the day the war is said to be over
But when take off the first missile
to cross the cold of dreams that do not sleep?
The night of the stars begins on S. Lorenzo
and is lost in the desert.
Granules,
themselves tiny,
the men of the sand
follow the wake of meteorites
which do not dissolve in a wish.
They convince their children
that is the rain of the stars.
Rain without clouds.
The stars fall
with impoverished drops.
Down the spiral
fall another day…
Where can an umbrella be opened
to make it stop?
The man
who advise how to stop
the fall of the stars
down the spiral
no one listens.
From his words
will not be born…
words to sell.
The stars are raining.
