TO TAKE A TRAIN
( Davide Riccio ITA - PRENDERE UN TRENO )
To take a train between comers and goers
Knee to knee in some old coach
To unbosom oneself a little.
To look out thoughts you have in
The ballast runs as past does…
To withdraw into oneself a little.
Memoirs comfort at tatantatà rocking
On the ghost of a dear children’s lullaby.
From station to station
On guides of iron
To relax oneself at last
At the certainty of coming to a place.
Cardiacal contractions
Arterial pulsations roll on the railroad
And out of every tunnel
To be born again.
