Rustling of fallen leaves,

Shadows on the walls

Of children playing tig

In a summer night

Studded with stars.

Indistinct voices

Of people speaking

Under their breath

Mewing of cats,

Flying bats

Around the street-lamps.

The silhouette of a boy

At the corner of the street

Kissing his girl

Before going home.
