NEEDFULS

Really I don't need much to
be happy!
In the first place, I need a
smile:
Mine looked at your gorgeus
face.
I need the flower's sweet
smell during the day;
At night I need only a
Star...
Only the flower - my Star,
the air of each morning,
The grace of the happy child
saluting the hope,
That satisfied regard with I
see the world
Feeling the happiness
waiting the eve
Of all the Earth in movement.
So few things I really need
to be happy:
The green colour of this
earth, the Sun's gladness
Or the matured rain
invigorating roots
Or the poetry of the Moon
greeting the Sunrise!
But I don't need what you
say...
I don't need when you say:
look for treasures!
I need, oh yes, a very
strong and glad soul
to see, observe the river
and the sea and moonlight
And to produce the bread for
my maintenance!
I need specially your thanks...
I need to be happy with me
and yourself,
I need the grace of God when
I thank.
I need to deserve myself as
a human being
When every days of my life I
learn how to live,
And learning I become your
brother.
